O Allah, I seek refuge in You from old age, the ravages of time, sorrow, jest, ignorance, laziness, stinginess, and vain desires. And from a sin that You do not forgive, and from an action that You do not accept, and from a supplication that You do not hear. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of the Fire, and from the evil of wealth, and from the evil of poverty, and from the evil of hearing, and from the evil of sight, and from the evil of the tongue, and from the evil of the heart, and from the evil of seminal discharge.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka al-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina. (O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment). And he used to seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the day of standing (before Allah), and from the evil of the night of gathering (in Hell). And he used to seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the soul, and from the evil of the desires, and from the evil of the Shaitan and his associates. And he used to seek refuge in Allah from the evil of everything that may seize him. And he used to seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the day of ignorance, and from the evil of the night of ignorance. And he used to seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the Hour, and from the evil of the Day of Resurrection. And he used to seek refuge in Allah from the evil of wealth, and from the evil of poverty, and from the evil of hearing, and from the evil of sight, and from the evil of tongue, and from the evil of heart, and from the evil of maniy.
