We have entered the morning upon the innate nature (fitrah) of Islam, upon the word of sincere devotion (ikhlas), upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and upon the way of our father Ibrahim, who was inclined [from all error] and a Muslim. He was not of those who associated partners with Allah.
Asbahna 'ala fitratil-Islam, wa 'ala kalimatil-ikhlas, wa 'ala deeni Nabiyyina Muhammadin ﷺ, wa 'ala millati abina Ibrahim hanifan musliman wa ma kana minal-mushrikin.

Narrated by Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught his companions supplications to say in the morning and evening. He taught them: 'O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, the goodness of what is in it, and the goodness of what it was sent with. I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of what is in it, and the evil of what it was sent with.' And he taught them: 'O Allah, we have entered the morning upon the fitrah of Islam, and upon the word of sincerity, and upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and upon the way of our father Ibrahim, inclined to truth and a Muslim. And we have not become polytheists.'
