O Allah, by Your grace we enter the morning, and by Your grace we enter the evening. By Your grace we live, and by Your grace we die, and to You is the return. O Allah, we ask of You in this day the opening [of goodness], victory, light, blessing, and guidance. And we seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what comes after it. O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord of all things and their Sovereign, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from my soul and from Satan and his associating [others with Allah], and from bringing evil upon myself or dragging it to a Muslim.
Allahumma fatikh-as-samawati wal-ardi, 'aalim-al-ghaybi wash-shahadati, rabba kulli shay'in wa malikahu, ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Anta, a'udhu bika min nafsi wa min Shaytan wa shirkihi, wa an aqtarifa 'ala nafsi soo'an aw ajurrahu ila Muslim.
