How to Read
Recite this dua with sincerity and focus, reflecting on each request. Utter the Arabic words clearly, seeking Allah's help with a humble heart. Imagine the 'beneficial knowledge' leading you to righteousness, the 'good provision' being lawful and blessed, and the 'acceptable deeds' being those that truly bring you closer to Allah.
Virtues & Benefits
This powerful morning supplication encapsulates three crucial elements for a fulfilling life in this world and the next. Beneficial knowledge ('ilman nafi'an) guides our actions and understanding of faith. Good provision (rizqan tayyiban) ensures our sustenance is lawful and blessed, freeing us from the anxieties of unlawful earnings. Most importantly, acceptable deeds ('amalan mutaqabbalan) are those that are performed with sincere intention for Allah's sake and in accordance with the Sunnah, leading to His pleasure and reward. By asking for these three, we are essentially asking for the means to overcome selfish desires by directing our focus towards what truly matters: pleasing Allah through knowledge, lawful sustenance, and righteous actions.
