O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. And I seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, the attainment of misery, the evil of destiny, and the rejoicing of enemies. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of character, deeds, and desires.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatika, wa fuji'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik. Wa a'udhu bika min jahdil-bala', wa darakish-shaqa'i, wa su'il-qada'i, wa shamatatil-a'da'i. Wa a'udhu bika min munkaratil-akhlaqi wal-a'mali wal-ahwa'

It was narrated from 'Abdullah that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, when it was morning, would say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min az-zalati aw azalli, aw azilli, aw uzla, aw azhlim, aw uzlama, aw afruta, aw yufrata 'alayya, aw abghi, aw yubgha 'alayya, aw ansura, aw yunsara ilayya.' (And it was narrated from him in another way with the same meaning.) And when it was evening, he would say the like of that. The narrator added: 'And from the evil of what He created.' And he would say four times in the morning and four times in the evening: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-juhdi wal-haraji wal-daraki wal-shadati min an-nari wal-ma'i.' (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress, hardship, falling into evil, and the severity of the punishment of Hell and drowning). And he would say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matika, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatika, wa fuji'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik. Wa a'udhu bika min jahdil-bala', wa darakish-shaqa'i, wa su'il-qada'i, wa shamatatil-a'da'i. Wa a'udhu bika min munkaratil-akhlaqi wal-a'mali wal-ahwa'.
