Virtues & Benefits
This supplication encapsulates a comprehensive request for a well-rounded, righteous life. * **Beneficial knowledge ('ilman nafi'an):** This isn't just about accumulating facts, but knowledge that leads to correct action, increases Taqwa (consciousness of Allah), and guides one on the straight path. * **Goodly provision (rizqan tayyiban):** This encompasses all forms of sustenance – wealth, health, family, opportunities – that are lawful, blessed, and pure. * **Acceptable deeds ('amalan mutaqabbalan):** This is the ultimate goal – performing actions that are pleasing to Allah, done with sincerity, and in accordance with His commands. By asking for these three things, you are essentially asking for a life that is pleasing to Allah in every aspect.
