اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and accepted deeds.
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan
When to Read
This dua is specifically recommended to be recited after Fajr (dawn) prayer. It's part of the morning supplications that set the tone for the entire day, aligning our actions and intentions with what pleases Allah.
How to Read
Recite this dua with sincerity and a focused heart after completing the obligatory Fajr prayer. It is beautiful to repeat it, but the core is the heartfelt asking of these three crucial elements for a blessed day: knowledge that benefits us, sustenance that is pure, and deeds that are accepted by our Lord.
Virtues & Benefits
This powerful dua encapsulates three essential pillars for a righteous and productive day. Beneficial knowledge guides us on the straight path. Pure provisions (rizq tayyib) ensure our sustenance is lawful and brings blessings. Accepted deeds mean our efforts in worship and daily life are acknowledged and rewarded by Allah. It's a comprehensive request for spiritual and worldly well-being, as taught by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Narrated by Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her): That the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say, when he said the morning prayer, as he was finishing his salutation: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.' (O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and accepted deeds.)
