And say, 'My Lord, have mercy upon them as they nurtured me when I was small.'
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is inevitable, and Your judgment of me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the stores of unseen knowledge, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my grief, and a reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and deeds accepted.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female-servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your judgment over me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a departure for my sorrow and a remover of my worries.

O Allah, I ask You for the longing to meet You. O Allah, I ask You to protect me from all evil and all bad things, and to grant me all good, and to make me content and well-pleased."
O Allah, I ask for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
