اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
O Allah, I ask You from Your grace.
Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik
When to Read
This beautiful, concise dua is recited upon leaving the Masjid. After you've completed your prayers, remembrance (dhikr), and perhaps sought knowledge within the blessed walls of the mosque, you turn to Allah once more as you step out, seeking His continued bounty and blessings in your day.
How to Read
Recite this dua once as you are exiting the Masjid. It's often said after the prayer, and before you step across the threshold. Focus your heart on Allah's boundless grace and His ability to provide for you in ways you may not even imagine. Think of it as a gentle reminder to yourself that all good things come from Him.
Virtues & Benefits
This dua, though short, carries immense meaning. By asking Allah for His 'fadl' (grace, bounty, favour), you're acknowledging that your ability to worship, learn, and do good deeds stems from Him. It shifts your perspective from relying on your own efforts to relying on Allah's generosity. It reminds us that the purpose of coming to the Masjid is to seek Allah's pleasure, and that this seeking doesn't end at the door but continues into our lives outside.
