When to Read
This dua is recommended to be recited upon leaving the Masjid, after completing your prayers. It's a moment to ask Allah to continue His blessings upon you as you re-enter your daily life, carrying the barakah of the Masjid with you.
How to Read
Recite this supplication after you have finished your prayer and are about to exit the Masjid. It's often recited after the well-known dua for entering the Masjid. As you step out, remember to do so with your right foot first, as is the Sunnah. This dua is a personal request, so say it with sincerity and focus.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "I spent the night at the house of Maymunah. The Prophet ﷺ got up during the night and relieved himself, then he performed ablution and prayed, and I came and performed ablution with him. Then he narrated a Hadith in which it is mentioned that when the Prophet ﷺ went out (of his house), he used to say: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan. (O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.)' And when he returned from the `Isha' prayer, he said: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka 'afwatan fi'd-dunya wal-akhirah. Allahumma inni as'aluka 'afwaka wa 'afiyataka fi dini wa dunyaya wa ahli wa mali. Allahumma-sturni 'awrati wa amin raw'ati. Allahumma-hfadhni min bayni yadayya wa min khalfi, wa 'an yamini wa 'an shimali, wa min fawqi, wa a'udhu bi 'adhimatika an ughtala min tahti.' (O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for Your forgiveness and Your protection in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my private parts and allay my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me. I seek refuge in Your Greatness lest I be swept away from beneath me.)" In another narration: 'When he left the Masjid, he would say: Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik.'
