اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and deeds accepted [by You].
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan
When to Read
This beautiful dua is recommended to be recited upon leaving the Masjid, right after fulfilling your prayers. It's a perfect moment as you step out, carrying the barakah of your worship, to ask Allah for the very things that sustain and elevate us: knowledge that benefits, provision that is pure, and actions that are accepted.
How to Read
Recite this dua sincerely after completing your prayer and any other recommended supplications within the Masjid. Raise your hands if you are outside the Masjid, or make the intention and recite it silently from your heart as you walk out. The focus should be on the heartfelt plea to your Lord for these essential blessings.
Virtues & Benefits
This supplication is profound. By asking for 'beneficial knowledge' ('ilman naafi'an'), we seek wisdom that guides us, enriches our understanding of Deen, and helps us implement it correctly. 'Goodly provision' (rizqan tayyiban) encompasses not just wealth, but all aspects of sustenance that are pure and free from ill-gotten means. Most importantly, asking for 'accepted deeds' ('amalan mutaqabbalan') is the ultimate goal – to have our worship and efforts recognized and rewarded by Allah. This dua encapsulates a holistic request for spiritual and worldly well-being rooted in obedience to Allah.
