Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, 'When any one of you finishes prayer in the Masjid, he should say: Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik. For indeed, there is a bounty (fadl) in the day and in the night.' (Sahih Muslim 1301). While the primary context is often linked to seeking general provision after prayer, the principle extends to our exit from the Masjid, carrying Allah's blessing with us.
