‘Abdullah bin Mas‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: ‘When one of you goes to the mosque, let him say: ‘O Allah, forgive my sins and open for me the gates of Your mercy.’ And when he leaves, let him say: ‘O Allah, forgive my sins and open for me the gates of Your bounty.’
