Virtues & Benefits

This supplication is a beautiful expression of *tawakkul* (reliance on Allah). When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this dua, he mentioned that it is sufficient for the one who recites it. This implies it provides all the protection and guidance needed, covering your spiritual and practical needs. It wards off evil and grants you the inner strength and confidence to face any task, including public speaking, by connecting you directly to the source of all power.

Source & Authentication

Narrated Anas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'When a person leaves his house saying, 'Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'alallahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah,' it is said to him: 'You are guided, you are taken care of, and you are defended.' So the devil stays away from him and [another] devil says to him: 'What is wrong with a man whom he has been guided, taken care of, and defended?'
