بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ.

In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.

Bismillahi, tawakkaltu 'alallahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.

When to Read

Recite this powerful supplication as you take the first steps towards your entrepreneurial venture, whether it's signing a crucial document, launching your website, or physically opening your business doors. It’s a declaration of reliance on Allah (SWT) before embarking on any significant undertaking that involves leaving the comfort of what's familiar for the unknown path of business.

How to Read

Utter these words with sincerity and conviction. Ensure you understand the profound meaning: acknowledging Allah's name at the start, placing your absolute trust in Him for success, and recognizing that all strength and ability to achieve comes solely from Him. This isn't just a ritual; it's a mindset shift, entrusting your efforts to the One who controls all outcomes.

Virtues & Benefits

This dua embodies the essence of *tawakkul* (reliance on Allah). By reciting it, you actively seek Allah's blessing and protection for your venture. It reminds you that worldly success is contingent upon His will, fostering humility and preventing arrogance. It’s a comprehensive statement acknowledging Allah’s sovereignty over all affairs, big or small, bringing peace of mind and spiritual fortification as you navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship.

Source & Authentication

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'When a person leaves his house saying: 'Bismillahi, tawakkaltu 'alallahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah), it is said to him: 'You are guided, you are taken care of, and you are defended.' The devil moves away from him and another devil says to him: 'How can you deal with a man who has been guided, taken care of, and defended?'
