Virtues & Benefits
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ promised immense protection and guidance to whoever recites this dua. In a narration recorded by Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi (who graded it Hasan Sahih), it is mentioned that when a servant says this, it is said to him: 'You are guided, you are defended, and you are protected.' This means that the shayatin (devils) are kept away from him, and he will face no harm from them. It's a comprehensive shield against unseen evils and a source of inner peace and confidence as you navigate the challenges of a new beginning.
Source & Authentication
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'When a man leaves his house and says: Bismillahi, tawakkaltu 'alallahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. It is said to him: 'It is enough for you (meaning Allah is sufficient for you), you are guided, defended and protected.' So the Shaytan (devil) is distanced from him.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 5095, Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3426)
