In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.

For the specific intention of rebuilding a relationship, reciting this positions your efforts under Allah's divine care, asking Him to smooth the path and open hearts.

Source & Authentication

Narrated Anas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'When a man goes out of his house saying: 'Bismillahi, tawakkaltu 'alallahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah', it is said to him: 'You have been sufficed, defended and guided.' So the devils keep away from him, and a devil says: 'How can you get to a man whom he has sufficed, defended and guided?'
