بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

In the name of Allah, I rely on Allah. There is no might nor power except with Allah.

Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'ala Allah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ promised immense protection to the one who recites this dua upon leaving home. It is reported by Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'When a person leaves his house and says: 'Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'ala Allah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah,' it will be said to him: 'You have been guided, you have been taken care of, and you have been protected.' So the devil stays away from him.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 5095). This means that by reciting this, you are under Allah's special care, shielded from harm and guided on your path. It cultivates a heart of gratitude, acknowledging that even the ability to leave and return safely is a blessing from Allah.
