Narrated Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When a man goes out of his house saying: Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (In the name of Allah, I rely on Allah. There is no might nor power except with Allah), it is said to him: You are guided, defended and sufficient. So the devil keeps away from him.' A devil is told: 'How can you get to a person who is guided, defended and sufficient?'
