This powerful dua is for when you step out of your home with a significant challenge ahead, especially something as daunting as a legal battle. It's meant to be recited as you are about to depart, acknowledging that even in the face of human systems and arguments, our ultimate reliance must be on Allah.

How to Read

Recite this sincerely as you are leaving your home. Place your trust in Allah's plan and His ability to grant you justice. Understand that this is not just a set of words, but a profound declaration of dependence on the Almighty, seeking His guidance, strength, and protection as you navigate the complexities of a legal dispute.

Virtues & Benefits

Reciting this dua when leaving home is a Sunnah that brings immense blessings. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ promised that when one says this, they are told: 'You are guided, you are sufficed, and you are protected.' This means Allah will guide your steps, provide for your needs, and protect you from harm and the evil you might encounter on your way, including the machinations of any opposing party in a legal matter. It instills peace and confidence, reminding you that Allah is with you every step of the way.

Source & Authentication

Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, 'When a person goes out of his house saying: Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. (In the name of Allah, I rely on Allah. There is no might nor power except with Allah.) it is said to him: 'You have been sufficed, protected and guided.' So the devils turn away from him. One of the devils says: 'How can you get to a man whom he has been sufficed, protected and guided?'
