Virtues & Benefits
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ promised great rewards for reciting this dua. In one narration, when this dua is said, it is announced to the reciter: 'You have been guided, you are taken care of, and you are protected.' The devil is then repelled from him, and another devil says: 'How can you get to a man whom has been guided, taken care of, and protected?' (Sunan Abi Dawud 5095). This means Allah suffices you, guides you, and protects you from all harm, seen and unseen, including the whispers of Shaytan.
