اللَّهُمَّ أَرِنِي فِي مَنْ أَتَيْتُهُ وَجْهَ صَدِيقٍ كَرِيمٍ وَمَرْجِعَ طَرِيقٍ سَلِيمٍ

O Allah, show me in the one I visit the face of a generous friend and the return of a safe path.

Allahumma arini fi man ataytuhu wajha sadiqin karimin wa marji'a tariqin salimin

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'O Allah, show me in the one I visit the face of a generous friend and the return of a safe path.' (Sunan Ibn Majah 3890). This hadith is graded Hasan by some scholars due to corroborating narrations, though it is generally considered weaker than the more commonly cited hadith for leaving home. Nevertheless, its meaning is sound and beneficial.
