Duas for seeking knowledge, understanding, and wisdom
O Allah, benefit me by what You have taught me, teach me that which will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear You, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a prayer that is not answered. My Lord, increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, forgive me my all sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden, the intentional and the mistaken. O Allah, grant me a soul at peace, which believes in meeting You, and is content with Your decree, and satisfied with Your gift. O Allah, open for us the openings of those who know (You), and illuminate our hearts with the light of Your knowledge, and open upon us the openings of those who know (You).
O Allah, grant me wisdom and join me with the righteous.
