O Allah, Hajj is a duty You have ordained. So make the way to it easy for me. If my expenses have made me unable, then enrich me and widen my sustenance from Your provisions. If my health has made me unable, then strengthen me and grant me well-being in my body. And if performing Hajj has made me unable, then grant me success in what is more obligatory for You from me.
Allahumma innahu yajibu 'alaykal-Hajju, fa-sahhil li sabeelahu, wa in kuntu qad a'jazatni nafaqati, fa-agh'nini wa awsi' 'alayya min rizqika, wa in kuntu qad a'jazatni sihhati, fa-qawwini wa 'afini fi badani, wa in kuntu qad a'jazatni iqamatu al-Hajji, fa-waffiqni li ma huwa awjabu 'alayka minni.

Virtues & Benefits
This comprehensive dua seeks Allah's help in overcoming the specific obstacles that prevent one from performing Hajj: financial limitations, health issues, and the general difficulty of making arrangements. By asking Allah to 'enrich' and 'strengthen' and 'grant success,' the supplicant is not just wishing but actively seeking the means and ability to fulfill this obligation. It transforms the feeling of helplessness into an active reliance on Allah, recognizing that He is the ultimate provider and facilitator. The phrasing 'what is more obligatory for You from me' suggests seeking fulfillment of whatever duties Allah has made most incumbent upon the individual in their current circumstances.
Source & Authentication
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to ask Allah for what we need. This specific supplication, found in collections like Al-Tabarani and Abu Ya'la, is a beautiful example of how we can turn to Allah when faced with challenges that hinder us from fulfilling a significant act of worship like Hajj. It's important to remember that Hajj is obligatory only for those who are physically and financially able. This dua acknowledges that reality while still expressing the deep desire to perform it, seeking Allah's grace to either enable the journey or guide us to fulfill our duties to Him in other ways.
