اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ وَالْعَمَلَ الَّذِي يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حُبَّكَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ نَفْسِي وَأَهْلِي وَمِنَ الْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ
O Allah, I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and for the deeds which will help me reach Your love. O Allah, make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family, and than cold water.
Allahumma inni as'aluka hubbaka wa hubba man yuhibbuka wal-'amalalladhi yuballighuni hubbak. Allahummaj'al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi wa ahli wa minal-ma'il-barid.

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Huthayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Whoever asks Allah for martyrdom in the cause of Allah with sincerity, Allah will grant him the reward of a martyr, even if he dies on his bed.' (Sunan At-Tirmidhi 1648). The narrator said: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka hubbaka wa hubba man yuhibbuka wal-'amalalladhi yuballighuni hubbak. Allahummaj'al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi wa ahli wa minal-ma'il-barid.'
