O Allah, make me Your servant, son of Your servant, and son of Your handmaiden. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You have named Yourself with, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in Your knowledge of the unseen. I ask that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties.

Virtues & Benefits
This supplication is a comprehensive request that touches upon acknowledging Allah's sovereignty, seeking guidance, and requesting inner peace. By asking for the Qur'an to be the 'springtime of the heart,' one seeks spiritual revival and growth. As for the specific benefit of being enabled to support others, while this exact wording focuses on the Qur'an's impact, the underlying principle of gratitude for any bestowed ability is central to Islamic teaching. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Whoever is not grateful to people is not grateful to Allah' (Sahih At-Tirmidhi 1955). Being able to support others is a major blessing, and expressing gratitude for it invites more favor from Allah.

Yazid ibn al-Aswad narrated that he performed the Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) finished his prayer (in Al-Khayf mosque), he saw two men at the back of the people, and he said: 'Bring them to me.' They were brought to him, their bodies being thin. He said: 'Are you two aware of Allah's blessings upon you?' They said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Then you should do your work with its due (care and attention).' And he narrated a Hadith similar to this, and in the Hadith of Abu Bakr: 'My forelock is in the hand of Allah, He commands me with regard to it as He wills.' And in the Hadith of Ibn Adi: 'O Allah, make me Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your handmaiden. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You have named Yourself with, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in Your knowledge of the unseen. I ask that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties.'
