Narrated Abu Huraira: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If anyone sits in a gathering and is involved in much idle talk therein and before leaving it, he says: Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance. Then what was said in that gathering will be expiated for him." *Translation and reference from Sunan Abi Dawud 3914. The hadith is classified as Hasan by Imam Al-Albani.*
