O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the alteration of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matika, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatika, wa faja'ati niqmatika, wa jami'i sakhatika. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-hammi wal-hazani, wa a'udhu bika min al-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika min al-jubni wal-bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijali.

How to Read
Recite this dua with sincerity and a heart that recognizes its dependence on Allah. Understand the meaning of each phrase. Raise your hands as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did for certain supplications, especially when seeking refuge (a'udhu billah). Focus on the sincerity of your plea for protection from the loss of blessings, including mental clarity and sound judgment, and from all things that could lead to Allah's displeasure.
Virtues & Benefits
This dua encapsulates seeking refuge in Allah from the loss of blessings, including the blessing of a healthy mind and intellect. By seeking refuge from 'zawali ni'matika' (the cessation of Your blessings), we are indirectly acknowledging the immense value of what we have. A clear mind is a fundamental blessing that enables us to worship Allah properly, fulfill our responsibilities, and navigate life's challenges. It also protects us from mental anguish (hamm and hazan) and incapacitating weakness (ajz and kasal), which directly impact our ability to think and act productively. This supplication, therefore, is a powerful tool for maintaining gratitude and seeking divine protection for our mental and cognitive faculties.
