Duas for seeking forgiveness from Allah
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the small and the great, the first and the last, the open and the secret.
O Allah, forgive me my mistakes and my ignorance, and my excess in my affairs, and what You know better about me than I. O Allah, forgive me my jest and my earnestness, and my unintentional and intentional sins, and what I have admitted and what I have slipped into, and all of that is with me.
O Allah, forgive me my sin entirely, its minor and major, its first and last, and its public and private.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating anything with You consciously, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do so unknowingly.
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship except You. You created me, and I am Your servant, and I am abiding by Your covenant and Your promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sins, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. And when You intend to try Your creation, take me to Yourself without putting me through trial. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, forgive me for what I have brought forward and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have disclosed, and what You know better than I. You are the One who brings forth and the One who delays; there is no god but You.
O Allah, forgive me for all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden, the outward and the inward.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god worthy of worship except You. You created me, and I am Your servant. I am abiding by Your covenant and Your promise as much as I can. Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him. I seek forgiveness from Allah and I turn to Him in repentance.
