Hamm, who is Ibn 'Umaar, said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never abandoned these supplications either in the evening or in the morning: O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion and worldly affairs, for my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my weaknesses and make me feel secure from what I fear. O Allah, guard me from in front of me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your magnificence from being snatched away from beneath me.' And when he felt cold, he would say: 'O Allah, I ask You for its best and the best of what it is (hastily) made. I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what it is (hastily) made.' And when night fell, he would say: 'O A-llah, Lord of the seven heavens and what they overshadow, Lord of the earth and what it carries, Lord of the devils and those whom they mislead, be an (effective) adversary for them, from the evil of all that which You have created, so that none of them may approach me, and that my affairs may be against them, and that my children may be guarded from You. (A refuge) of protection, sanctified by Your Word and Exalted be Your Word. (There is no god but You).' (Sahih Muslim 2713). And he also used to say: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.' (Sahih Muslim 2708)
