يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ

O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm on Your religion.

Ya muqallib-al-qulubi, thabbit qalbi 'ala deenik.

It was narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would most often say when he broke his fast: 'O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm on Your religion.' And it was narrated from him that he said: 'The heart is between two of the fingers of the Most Merciful, Who turns it however He wills.'
