Seeking Allah's Protection from Nightmares: The Evening Supplication

Evening Adhkar
Hasan HadithSunan Ibn Majah 3862

In the name of Allah, and by Allah, and by Allah I ask You, O my Lord, for my need. By Your Power which none knows but You, grant me my need. By all Your Most Beautiful Names, and by Your Greatest Name, by which if You are called upon, You answer, and if You are asked, You give, I ask that You turn away from me all evil, all devils, all envious people, all those with the evil eye, and all harm. And fulfill my need, grant me what I ask for, and give me well-being in all my affairs. And grant me refuge from the punishment of the Fire, the punishment of the grave, and from the evil of this world and the hereafter. Indeed, You are Able to do all things.

Bismillahi, wa billahi, wa billahi as'aluka ya Rabbi haajatee, wa biqudratika allatee la ta'lamuha illa Anta an taqdiya lee haajatee, wa bi'asmaa'ikal husna kulliha, wa bis'mikal a'dham allathee itha du'eeta bihi ajabta, wa itha su'ilta bihi a'tayta, an tarudda 'annee kulla soo'in, wa kulla shaytanin, wa kulla hasidin, wa kulla dhee 'aynin, wa kulla dhaarri, wa taqdiya haajatee, wa tu'tineenee su'lee, wa an tu'aafineenee fee jamee'i umooree, wa an tu'eedhanee min 'adhabin-naari, wa 'adhabil-qabri, wa min sharri ad-dunya wal-aakhirati, innaka 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer.
