I seek refuge for you two with the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every beast, and from every evil eye.
U'eezukumā bikalimātillāhit-tāmmah min kulli shayṭānin wa hāmmah, wa min kulli 'ainin lāmmah

How to Read
Recite this dua with sincerity and full belief in Allah's power. The Prophet ﷺ would often place his hand on the head of the person he was making dua for. You can place your hand on your child's head or chest as you recite it, or simply direct the intention towards them. It is recommended to repeat it three times for added emphasis.
Virtues & Benefits
This invocation encapsulates seeking Allah's complete protection through His perfect words. It guards against the whispers of Shaytan, the dangers of harmful creatures or unseen beings ('hāmmah'), and the malicious intent of the evil eye (''ainin lāmmah'). By reciting this, we are entrusting our children's safety and well-being to the One who controls all matters, fostering a sense of security for both the child and the parent.
