Al-Tirmidhi narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A Muslim, when it is evening, says: Allahumma inni as'aluka ridhak wa ridha ma tuhibb wa as'aluka an tahfadhani wa ahli wa mali. Allahumma al-musta'an wa 'alaik al-balagh. Wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah al-'Aliyy al-'Adhim. (O Allah, I ask You for Your pleasure and the pleasure of what You love, and I ask You to protect me and my family and my wealth. O Allah, You are the One sought for help, and upon You is conveying the message. There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great). Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a gharib hadith. He also mentioned that Abu Dharr said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Shall I not tell you of two qualities that are easier to do but reward you more?' The companions said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Good speech and spreading the greeting of peace.' He then mentioned this hadith. Al-Albaani graded it Hasan.
