بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ العَلِيمُ
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can harm. And He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us this dua as a potent means of protection. The Companion Abu Ad-Dardaa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that whoever recites this in the morning will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the evening, and whoever recites it in the evening will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the morning. This assurance from the Prophet ﷺ highlights the immense blessing and security this supplication offers.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever says in the morning: *Bismillahilladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem* (In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can harm.
