When to Read

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ explicitly stated: 'Whoever says: *'A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq'* (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created) in the evening, then no harm will befall him until he wakes up in the morning.' (Sahih Muslim 2708). This protection encompasses physical dangers, spiritual evils, and any unforeseen calamities that might occur during the night.
