Evening Adhkar
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 2723

We have entered the evening and the entire dominion belongs to Allah. All praise is due to Allah. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, alone, without partner. O my Lord, I ask You for the goodness of this night and the goodness of what follows it. I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what follows it. O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of old age. O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave.

Amsayna wa amsal mulku lillah, wal-hamdulillahi, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, Rabbi as'aluka khayra hadhihil-laylati wa khayra ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharri hadhihil-laylati wa sharri ma fiha, Rabbi a'udhu bika minal-kasali wa soo'il-kibar, Rabbi a'udhu bika min 'adhabin fin-nari wa 'adhabin fil-qabr.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say when evening came: 'Amsayna wa amsal mulku lillah, wal-hamdulillahi, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, Rabbi as'aluka khayra hadhihil-laylati wa khayra ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharri hadhihil-laylati wa sharri ma fiha, Rabbi a'udhu bika minal-kasali wa soo'il-kibar, Rabbi a'udhu bika min 'adhabin fin-nari wa 'adhabin fil-qabr.' And when morning came, he would say the like of that: 'Asbahna wa asbahal mulku lillah...'
