In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah, our Lord, we trust.
Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala Rabbina tawakkalna.

If a person says this upon entering their home and upon eating their food, Satan will say, 'I have no way to reach you and no way to [affect] you tonight and no way to [affect] your food.' (Reported by Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani). Narrated by Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: The Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) said: When one of you enters his house, let him say: O Allah, I ask You for good at the time of entering, and good at the time of leaving. O Allah, do not let us be the most wretched of Your creation. O Allah, I ask You for the bounty that You have granted us, and for the good that You have bestowed upon us, and for the sustenance that You have provided. O Allah, grant me abundance in my provision, and do not deprive me of it. O Allah, protect me from the evil of the night and the evil of the day. And also, when a person enters his house, he should say: Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala Rabbina tawakkalna. (O Allah, in Your name we enter, in Your name we leave, and in our Lord we put our trust.) Then Satan says: I have no way to reach you and no way to [affect] you tonight and no way to [affect] your food. And when a person leaves his house, he should say: Bismillahi tawakkaltu 'ala Allah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. (In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah). Then Satan says: You have been guided, you have been sufficed, and you have been protected. Then Satan keeps away from him.
