Source & Authentication
Narrated by Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When a man enters his house, he should say: Bismillah, walajna, wa bismillah kharajna, wa 'ala Rabbina tawakkalna (In the name of Allah we enter, in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah, our Lord, we place our trust). And when he eats, he should say: Bismillah. Then Satan says: 'You have a place to spend the night and food to eat.' If he says it when he enters his house, Satan says: 'You have a place to spend the night.' If he does not say it when he eats, Satan says: 'You have a place to spend the night and food to eat.'
