O Allah, I ask of You the best of entering, and the best of exiting. In Allah's name we enter, in Allah's name we exit, and in Allah, our Lord, we trust.
Allahumma inni as'aluka khayral mawlaji wa khayral makhraji, bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'alallahi Rabbana tawakkalna.

Narrated by Abu Malik al-Ash'ari: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered his house, he would say: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka khayral mawlaji wa khayral makhraji, bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'alallahi Rabbana tawakkalna' (O Allah, I ask of You the best of entering, and the best of exiting. In Allah's name we enter, in Allah's name we exit, and in Allah, our Lord, we trust). And when he went out, he would say the like of that: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka khayral makhraji wa khayral mawlaji, bismillahi makhrajna, wa bismillahi walajna, wa 'alallahi Rabbana tawakkalna' (O Allah, I ask of You the best of exiting and the best of entering. In Allah's name we exit, in Allah's name we enter, and in Allah, our Lord, we trust).
