بِسْمِ اللهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى اللهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah our Lord we place our trust.

Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'alallahi Rabbina tawakkalna.

Narrated by Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When a man enters his home, he should mention Allah the Exalted, and when he eats, he should mention Allah the Exalted. And when he eats, mention Allah the Exalted the first, and do not forget Him.' He said: 'And when he enters his home, he should say: Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'alallahi Rabbina tawakkalna.' (In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah our Lord we place our trust.) And when he eats, he should say: Bismillahi wa bismillah. (In the name of Allah and in the name of Allah.)
