اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male devils and female devils (or from evil and impurities).

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'When any one of you intends to enter the privy, he should say: Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 142, Sahih Muslim 375). The scholars interpret 'khubuth' and 'khaba'ith' as referring to the male and female devils who are known to frequent such places.
