When to Read

This dua is recited just before entering the bathroom or toilet area. It's a moment of transition, moving from the pure environment outside to a place that is often associated with impurity. Making this dua acknowledges Allah's presence and seeks His protection even in such private spaces.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity and a clear intention before stepping into the bathroom. It is generally recommended to recite it while standing outside the door, just before entering.
