In the name of Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from evil jinn, both male and female.

Seeking refuge in Allah from the male and female devils (khubuth and khaba'ith) before entering the bathroom is a Sunnah practice taught by our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Bathrooms are often considered places where Shaytan (Satan) may be present. By reciting this dua, we are asking Allah to shield us from their temptations, whispers, and any harm they might intend.
