The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ entered the grave, and then said: ‘Bismillah wa ‘ala millati Rasulillah.’ (In the name of Allah and according to the way of the Messenger of Allah). Sunan Abi Dawud narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that when he was lowering a body into the grave, he said: ‘Bismillah wa ‘ala millati Rasulillah.’ Classed as Hasan by Al-Albani.
