اللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْ عِبَادَكَ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ.

O Allah, grant victory to Your oppressed servants.

Allahumma-nsur 'ibadaka-l-mustad'afeen.

When to Read

This dua is deeply relevant when hearing about or witnessing injustice, particularly when a Muslim brother or sister has been wronged, oppressed, or has passed away due to such circumstances. It is a prayer for divine intervention and justice for those who have suffered, even after their passing.

How to Read

Recite this supplication with sincerity and a hopeful heart, envisioning Allah's justice prevailing. It can be recited at any time, but especially after salah or during personal supplications when you feel moved by the plight of the oppressed. Focus on the meaning, seeking Allah's mercy and vindication for the departed victim.

Virtues & Benefits

This powerful dua directly invokes Allah's help for the oppressed. By praying for them, we align ourselves with Allah's attribute of being the Just (Al-'Adl) and the Protector (Al-Wali). It is a way to express solidarity with those who have suffered and to seek Allah's ultimate justice, which extends to this life and the hereafter. It reminds us that even if worldly justice is not fully served, Allah's judgment is absolute.

Source & Authentication

It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'There is no slave who speaks ill of some people, except that those people are given precedence over him, and when he dies, they are given precedence over him.' Then Abu Dharr said: 'Allahumma-nsur 'ibadaka-l-mustad'afeen.' (O Allah, grant victory to Your oppressed servants.)
