O Allah, forgive him and have mercy upon him, and pardon him and grant him security, and honor his hospitality and make his grave spacious. And cleanse him with water, snow, and hail. And purify him from sins as a white garment is purified from filth. And give him an abode better than his home, and a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. And admit him to Paradise, and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.
Allahumma-ghfir lahu war-hamhu wa 'afihi wa'fu 'anhu, wa akrim nuzulahu wa wassi' mudkhalahu, waghsilhu bil-ma'i wath-thalji wal-baradi, wa naqqihi minal-khataya kama yunaqqa-th-thawb-ul-abyadu min ad-danasi, wa abdilhu daran khayran min darihi, wa ahlan khayran min ahlihi, wa zawjan khayran min zawjihi, wa adkhilhul-jannata, wa a'idh-hu min 'adhabi-l-qabri wa 'adhabi-n-nar

It was narrated from `Auf bin Malik Al-Ashja'i that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led them in prayer over a deceased person. He said: 'O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, and have mercy on him, and pardon him and grant him security, and honor his hospitality and make his grave spacious. And cleanse him with water, and snow, and hail. And purify him from sins as a white garment is purified from filth. And give him an abode better than his home, and a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. And admit him to Paradise, and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.' `Auf bin Malik said: 'So, I wished that I were that deceased person, until the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) died.'
