اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِفُلانِ بنِ فُلانٍ، وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ في المَهْدِيِّينَ، وَاخْلُفْهُ في عَقِبِهِ في الغَابِرِينَ، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلَهُ يا رَبَّ العَالَمِينَ، وَافْسَحْ لَهُ في قَبْرِهِ وَنَوِّرْ لَهُ فيهِ
O Allah, forgive [Name of deceased] son of [Father's name], raise his rank among those who are guided, and be his successor among those who remain. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Make his grave spacious for him and illuminate it for him.
Allahummaghfir li Fulan bin Fulan, warfa' darajatahu fil mahdiyyin, wakh'lufhu fi 'aqibihi fil ghabirin, waghfir lana wa lahu ya Rabb al-'alamin, wafsah lahu fi qabrihi wa nawwir lahu fih.
When to Read
This is a general supplication for any deceased Muslim. While there is no specific dua prescribed solely for a deceased gambler, the general supplications for forgiveness and mercy for all Muslims apply. Recite this dua anytime you remember the deceased or after any prayer.
How to Read
Make sincere intention for the deceased. Mention their name and their father's name in place of 'Fulan bin Fulan'. Recite with humility and hope, trusting in Allah's mercy. It is best to make this dua after completing your obligatory prayers or at other times when supplications are more readily answered.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us the importance of making dua for our deceased loved ones. Such supplications are a source of immense benefit for them in the grave and in the hereafter.
