O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, grant him well-being and pardon him, honor his resting place and make his grave spacious. Wash him with water, snow, and hail. Cleanse him of his sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. Give him a home better than his former home, a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. Admit him to Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.

Making dua for the deceased is a Sunnah practice, and the reward for such sincere supplications reaches the deceased, alleviating their burden and increasing their good deeds. Allah Himself says: "And those who came after them say, 'Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith..." (Al-Hashr 59:10), showing the value Allah places on such prayers.
Source & Authentication
It was narrated from 'Auf bin Malik Al-Ashja'i that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led the funeral prayer for a deceased person. When he finished, he said: 'O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, grant him well-being and pardon him, honor his resting place and make his grave spacious. Wash him with water, snow, and hail. Cleanse him of his sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. Give him a home better than his former home, a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. Admit him to Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.' 'Auf bin Malik said: 'O Messenger of Allah, may Allah have mercy on you, (I heard you) invoking these words for the deceased.' He said: 'When a man dies, the prayer of the believers for him becomes a means of his release.'
