In the name of Allah, I entrust myself to Allah, and I place my reliance on Allah. O Allah, I ask You for the best of Your bounty, and I seek refuge in You from Your evil. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Guardian of the family. O Allah, make the earth seem short for us and make this journey easy for us.
Bismillahi, tawalaytu billahi, wa tawakkaltu 'alallahi. Allahumma inni as'aluka min khayrik, wa a'udhu bika min sharrick. Allahumma antas-sahibu fis-safari, wal-khaleefatu fil-ahli. Allahumma-twi lana al-ard, wa hawwin 'alayna as-safara.

I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of this road and from its dangers.' Then he would say: 'Bismillahi, tawalaytu billahi, wa tawakkaltu 'alallahi. Allahumma inni as'aluka min khayrik, wa a'udhu bika min sharrick. Allahumma antas-sahibu fis-safari, wal-khaleefatu fil-ahli. Allahumma-twi lana al-ard, wa hawwin 'alayna as-safara.'
